Big wow . Absolutely fabulous. Like going back in history. Rooms are lovely and very historic. Beds comfy. Great host in Mark. Shame the drought has played havoc with their beautiful gardens. But still worth a visit

Fascinating, unique, historic place. Guests are free to wander around and explore, and there are signs describing what the different rooms were originally used for in the days when the building was a convent. Thank you to the owners for preserving and restoring this bit of Queensland history.
Beautiful place to stay & great staff. I had one of the simple rooms & even that was dressed amazingly & the views of the garden were lovely. A good breakfast is served daily & there is a communal kitchen & lounge area if you fancy getting out of your room for a while. I was also visited by the friendly house cat, Basil :)
Absolutely loved our stay there. A cheese platter and bottle of wine on arrival was a wonderful start to our stay. There is some amazing history of the place and even guided tours on offer.The room we stayed in was beautifully set with a king sized bed and original ball and claw bath tub as well to soak in after a day exploring around the area.The salmon dish that I had for dinner in their well appointed dining room was superb as well. A big thank you to our hosts and we certainly look forward to staying again.
